The Algeria forest, particularly in the northeastern region, has undergone profound changes recent years. Oued Bouhamdane watershed a great forest potential, which is threatened by several factors of natural and human origin, resulting decrease cover. It requires adequate monitoring to support sustainable management this watershed, possible thanks satellite imagery. objective research study spatiotemporal dynamics vegetation cover between 2013 2022 using remote sensing data. This based on use Landsat 8 9 images for two dates 2022, calculation Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) identify 2022. NDVI realization change map showed regression with rate –5.53% total area general negative 28.62% area. essentially linked anthropogenic factors. work can be valuable tool watershed; moreover, method also adaptable other watersheds region Algeria.
